The ministry of commerce released statistics show that China has been the three consecutive years as the world trade in goods exporter and the importer.
According to the release, in recent 10 years, Chinese goods trade scale expands rapidly. From 2003 to 2011, import and export of goods grew by an average of 21.7% a year, among them, exports grew by an average of 21.6% a year, imports grew by an average of 21.8% a year. In 2011, China's total import and export goods of $3.6421 trillion, 4.9 times higher than in 2002, import and export volume ranked second, and has set up three consecutive years as the world trade in goods first exporter and second importer.
Import and export commodity structure was further improved. Compared with 2002 in 2002, the export growth number 37 times my car; Ship export growth amount of 22 times, has more than South Korea becomes the first largest exporter of ships; Aircraft, satellite exports zero breakthrough, notebook computers, monitors, mobile phones, television sets, container and so on more than 50 products exports in the world first.
In terms of imports, advanced technology, equipment, key parts imported continues to grow, large resources has been expanding its energy imports. Import of high technology products in the international market share from 6% in 2002 to 6%, the second largest in the world. Non-edible raw materials related to fossil fuel, lubricating oil and of two kinds of raw material imports accounted for the proportion of total imports increased from 14.2% in 2002 to 32.2% in 2011. Actively expand import and effectively promote the improvement of the trade balance. China's foreign trade surplus of $30.43 billion, 2002 in 2008 reached an all-time high of $298.1 billion. In 2011, China's foreign trade surplus dropped to $155.14 billion, the proportion of gross domestic product from 7.5% peak in 2007 to 2.1% in 2011.
